When all of the pins are knocked down "on the first ball of a frame," it is a strike.

Every bowler wants to knock a strike and score high in order to win with this action, but it isn't just a stroke of luck. Bowlers who want to build a name for themselves by hitting strikes must typically work hard.

Great action, as in any sport, comes in little packets, where the focus is on the methods learnt and applied by that player. It is critical for every participant to understand how to develop his or her talents in order to win the game.

So, if you want to make a strike or a spare to win a match, here are three bowling tactics you may use:

1. Spinning
This technique refers to the method of delivering a shot with the objective of having only a little portion of the ball make contact with the lane. This approach reduces friction between the ball and the lane by ignoring the lane's "oiling pattern." As a result, the ball nearly glides down the lane in a straight path.

However, experts argue that this type of shot is not particularly successful since it does not take full use of the bowler's dragging strength.

2. Stroker
The bowler concentrates on accuracy rather than strength with this approach. This method is distinguished by the use of the "by the book" style of play, which requires the perfect execution of even movements, keeping square shoulders to the target all the way until the ball's release, and maintaining an on-time motion at the "foul line."

Most bowlers utilize this "traditional" approach because it employs smooth and controlled motions and reduces the danger of injury.

3. Cranker
This is the type of method used by a bowler who depends on strength rather than accuracy to deliver a solid stroke. When a bowler employs this approach, it is similar to 'striking hard.'
The talent requires greater adrenaline, which represents the bowler's desire to win. Crankers typically employ "late timing," which means they do not slide, try to get to the "foul line" before the ball, and bend their elbows to maintain their hands at the back and beneath the ball.
There are no ideal techniques, but each player has a unique technique. The most crucial thing is to get a strike or a spare.
